Right of Way/Forestry Supervisor - REA Energy Cooperative is seeking a Right of Way/Forestry Supervisor. Successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring work plans, policies, and procedures pertaining to tree trimming and overall tree maintenance. Responsibilities also include creating specifications for line clearance projects and developing an annual budget for same. Supervising and monitoring contractor crews is a significant portion of this job.
A Degree in Forestry or a related field is preferred and experience in electrical line clearance in a supervisory capacity is also necessary. Must have ability to work independently and without supervision and to communicate skillfully with customers and public regarding right-of-way and related activities.
Candidate must have or be able to obtain a Pennsylvania CDL Class A driver's license. Considerable fieldwork including patrolling electric lines on a regular basis in all types of weather is required. Candidate must relocate and live within 15 miles of the Indiana office.
